I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer in Sydney with more than 10 years in web development and React since 2018. I'm responsible for the frontend architecture of vehicle configurators covering 40+ models, and I build the internal packages other teams use. I currently work at Rotor Studios building React and TypeScript applications for Toyota, Lexus and Nissan

01.About Me

I'm a Senior Frontend Engineer with more than 10 years in web development. My React work started with Gutenberg in 2018, and I've been building with it ever since.

At Rotor Studios I'm responsible for the frontend architecture of React and TypeScript vehicle configurators covering more than 40 models across Toyota, Lexus and Nissan, and I build the internal packages other teams use. I also work on WebGL and XR experiences, automated testing, CI/CD and frontend standards.

Before Rotor, I worked at Pedestrian Group, The Intermedia Group and Made Agency across publishing, e-commerce, WordPress and custom web applications.

02.Where I've Worked

Senior Frontend Engineer @ Rotor Studios

Nov 2023 - Present

  • Responsible for the frontend architecture of React and TypeScript vehicle configurators covering 40+ models across Toyota, Lexus and Nissan, delivered to web, in-dealership kiosks and tablets
  • Worked on Toyota Showroom 360, the Lexus Asia Video Configurator, Toyota For You, and Toyota and Lexus asset preparation across Australian, Asian and Japanese markets
  • Responsible for governanceinstitute.com.au, an e-commerce and membership platform with thousands of members running on Azure, WordPress and a connected CRM, including maintenance, new features, plugins and redesigns
  • Build the internal packages other teams use: a CMS data layer, a shared 3D rendering engine and UI libraries
  • Set the component patterns and conventions the team works to in Next.js and Astro, lead code reviews and mentor engineers on the team
  • Write tests with Vitest and Playwright, and maintain CI/CD in GitHub Actions and Bitbucket Pipelines
  • Build interactive WebGL and XR features with design and backend specialists
